The TOM FORD Spring/Summer 2014 Womenswear Collection debuted in true TOM FORD style in London’s Lindley Hall on Monday, September 16th, with models walking a sleek mirrored catwalk nestled between suede seating.
This collection is designed for the strong woman who doesn’t shy away from her sexuality and isn’t afraid to be the center of attention. When speaking about the pieces, Ford said “there’s nothing stronger in our culture than a beautiful woman who’s also physically strong… [the collection is] sexy, but in a sensual rather than overtly sexual way, which was why everything was quite covered up and chaste. Yet if you really looked at it you feel that you can see right through it.”
There really is no need for me to write about the stunning mosaic mini dresses and boots or the luxurious leathers or those amazing fishnet boots and padlock handbag/bracelet combos… the pictures truly speak for themselves and this collection simply slays me. Amazing doesn’t even begin to cover it.
